Leeds leads the UK for the highest concentration of large corporations outside London.

Leeds has the highest number of large corporate firms outside London, according to a new biannual survey that examines the health and locations of the UK’s major companies. The inaugural HSBC UK Corporate Tracker, which monitors the activities and locations of 13,544 large corporates nationwide, reveals that Leeds is home to 203 large companies—more than any other city or local authority outside the capital. Sheffield and North Yorkshire also feature in the top ten.
